The usage of "karnakudu" is another architectural legacy which the Cholas seem to have taken from the Pallavan architectural style, with minimal changes!! Needless to say, Pallavan temples laid the foundation for the massive Chola temples in the later centuries. Also, the Pallavan Nataraja is noteworthy..First time, i'm seeing a Pallavan version. Wish you give us more treats, like this!!!
